General Shout Out…

Finishing out the school year- Volunteers needed
Please take some time during spring break to log in to the Pizza Lunch Sign ups and sign up for Pizza Lunch and Recess Helpers. We are at the count down to three more Pizza lunch days for the school year.

Silverwood Event Pictures
Do you have any amazing pictures of Silverwood events that you would like to share with us? Miss Ashley is looking for those great shots to share in the yearbook. If you have something to share, please email them to Miss Ashley. Thank you!

Check Mates
Our next Chess club event with West Sound Academy Strategy Gaming Club will be on Thursday, April 14th 3:30-4:30 in The Commons. (One hour seems to be a lot of our student’s limits.)

Kids Care Corner…
Please remember collection items for the Besease School in Ghana. These can be delivered to the Lodge. Keep the donations coming! We will be collecting through the end of April.

Mr. T’s Take…

Mr. T’s Take II
On Saturday, April 16th, Matt Hebard and I will host our Spring maintenance work-day! Last October during our Fall maintenance work-day, I was really impressed with what we accomplished in a short amount of time. We really count on these days since we do not have a paid staff to take care of our buildings and structures. Some of the projects we have identified include cleaning windows, painting fences, chain saw work, pressure washing walks and structures, fluffing the wood chips around the big toy, sweeping moss off the roofs, and the best job of all, cleaning out the gutters.

We will begin at 9:00 a.m. and start the day with some Sluy’s donuts, coffee and hot chocolate. Pizza lunch will also be provided. Not sure of all the tools we will need, so bring anything that you think will be useful (rakes, pruners, pressure washers, blowers, window cleaning supplies, etc.). Thanks everyone and have an enjoyable Spring Break.

Out of the mouth of babes…

“I was MEANT for Danger!” Exclaimed one of our Kindergarteners as she was playing a game in the woods.

Here are adorable pictures of our less dangerous activities. K/1 with M&M Math… Yum!
