Homework Club & In-Service Classes
We provide opportunities for students to work and socialize on campus both before school and after school. This is facilitated by our staff where students have one on one assistance with homework and a structured place to socialize or work on other classwork as needed. Hours for Homework Club are 7:15 am-8:10 am and 3:30 pm-5:30 pm Monday through Friday.
We also offer in-service classes on non-student days and parent-teacher conference days. This is an opportunity for students to work and play together outside of class. It is also a way for all ages and grades of our school to spend quality time with each other.
Seasonally we have students who spend one lunch period and one afternoon after school running with our Miss Cindy Rathgeber. Our students have participated in local 5K’s including The Jingle Bell Run and the Cougar Prowl. All ages and grades are invited to participate including parents, and some four legged friends as well.
Currently we are joining forces with students from West Sound Academy and their Strategic Gaming Club. They come in once a month to facilitate and teach our students chess after school. We even have guest homeschool families joining us in this fun filled afternoon. Our goal is to also create a Strategic Gaming club that could meet weekly.
