The most precious gift we can give our children is the gift of learning, and your decision to bring your child to Silverwood School shows your dedication to your child’s education. At Silverwood, a vital part of delivering the educational experiences that will help shape your child’s future are accomplished through the hard work and involvement of parents, faculty and staff. The Silverwood community is one of the most important assets that the school has, and we encourage all parents to actively participate. Without your commitment and investment in our student’s future, Silverwood would not be the unique place of learning and growth we all know and value.
Here are some ways to get involved; contact the office for more details:
Our Annual Auction is a very important fundraiser for the school, and it takes many people to pull together a successful event. Even if you don’t have any auction experience, there are many ways to help, from event planning and decorations to item procurement and sponsorship, even stuffing envelopes.
For the various events held throughout the year, many hands make light work. Set up, running activities, and clean up make events run smoothly. Back-to-School Potluck, Halloween Fest, Bookfair, Talent Show, Sweetheart Swirl, Kids’ Fest, Teacher Appreciation, and Field Day are the big ones.
